Is assembling the map part of the gift?
The Eco-Wood-Art world map sold by MagicHolz is a wooden wall puzzle. The 68travel product in this comparison is a layered engraved wall map. Both involve assembly or placement, but the puzzle makes that activity a more explicit part of the product experience.
For a gift buyer, this is a useful distinction: choose a puzzle for someone who wants a making project, and a geographic display for someone whose main interest is the finished map. Do not infer an age recommendation or assembly time from that distinction; check the exact product instructions.
Geography and materials
MagicHolz’s product record describes engraved countries and capitals, with a piece count that varies by version. The sampled retailer documentation identifies real wood without specifying the species. It does not provide the same construction evidence as 68travel’s inspected four-layer plywood map.
68travel’s denser tested geography and accessory range suit close reading and an expandable geographic composition. The puzzle’s attraction may instead be its assembly process and chosen palette. That difference is why the puzzle does not receive a conventional wall-map ranking here.
Fit and installation
Use the dimensions in the shared table to reserve the final wall area before starting the project. For a puzzle, also plan where the pieces will be assembled and how the finished sections will be transferred or attached according to the instructions.
MagicHolz records double-sided tape and puzzle assembly as installation support. Adhesive mounting is not automatically removable without marks. The same need to check the wall finish applies to 68travel’s tape-mounted pieces.
The recorded flag-marker board is optional. Do not treat it as part of every puzzle package or assume that it uses the same attachment method as another brand’s markers. Confirm the selected bundle before comparing accessory value.
Retailer, support and delivery
MagicHolz is the retailer for the named Eco-Wood-Art product; this comparison does not attribute manufacturing to the retailer. The existing research provides EU delivery context but does not support a complete global landed-cost ranking. Check destination eligibility, returns and responsibility for missing or damaged pieces before buying.
Verdict
Choose 68travel when geographic detail and the finished layered display are the priorities. Choose the MagicHolz-listed puzzle when the making activity is a meaningful part of the purchase. A single score would conceal that difference, so the puzzle remains unranked rather than being declared an inferior map.
